Data Sets

I am going to explore some publicly available datsets.

In last few years we have seen an explosion in datasets becoming available. These cover wide variety of topics. Many are driven by public bodies – councils, governements, NGOs, etc.. making data available.

I have only recently started to get into Kaggle, as well. This site provides a place to tax those grey cells – and let’s face it, 2020 has really been a struggle for many of us.

As part of 2020’s ‘stay sane’, I undertook plenty of self-study. I brushed up plenty of skills in data analysis, data engineering and data visualisation (I did some other things too!). I stumbled across another blog talking about the Titanic dataset.
